Friends of Providence Outreach Ministries,

Can you believe another year has passed? I am looking forward to the year 2020 - a year that the vision is fulfilled! 2019 has been an interesting year, one that we have seen some of our efforts rewarded! Here are a few highlights:

In May, L Spa in Friendswood closed their doors for good! This spa was reported for prostitution numerous times and closed and re-opened several times over the past few years.

In September, two ladies that we have been ministering to for several years came out and had dinner with us. We had such an awesome evening together!

In October we celebrated POM's five year anniversary! What an awesome time celebrating and honoring those that have been involved in the ministry. I loved getting all of us together and sharing some thoughts and feelings. Thank you to everyone that came out and joined us. For those of you that could not attend, you were missed.

Please save the dates for these upcoming events:

March 28,2020: A Jazzy Kind of Night. This is to benefit POM.  We have Jazz artist "Dean James" playing for us, check him out on You Tube.

We need Volunteers, you,  to make this night happen. If interested call the office at 281-817-0307. Tickets to the event will be posted on EventBrite.

Reminders:

January is Human Trafficking Awareness month! POM has held several awareness events including the League City MOPS group and Pearland United Methodist Church. Please contact us if you'd like us to speak at your church, small group or event.

POM is an Amazon Smile charity! If you're making purchases on Amazon, we can receive a percentage of your purchase! Simply go to smile.amazon.com and choose "Providence Outreach Ministries" as your charity. Bookmark this link, use it every time you make a purchase on Amazon and we will receive a donation check!

Ladies Bible Study is held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8pm at our office. Part of our study the last few weeks has been: How do you react when bad things happen? Do you blame God, become angry, bitter and walk away from Him? Or do you run to Him, lean in and trust the only one that can ease all the pain and take away the hurt?

1100 Nasa Parkway Ste 405, Houston, Tx 77058

We have prayer on every 4th Monday of the month at 9am at the POM office. We would love to have you join us.

For those who have supported our ministry with donations, financial seed or prayer, we thank you! As a faith-based ministry, we are completely dependent on God bringing people to sow into our work and becoming partners with what we do. We are a 501(c)(3) ministry and all gifts are tax deductible. For your convenience, you can now give through PayPal and through the website at provom.org.

Check out our Facebook page: Providence Outreach Ministries for further updates.

We pray God continues to bless you, keep you and draw you closer to His heart,
